the lay public and to medical professionals. Professional Training Institute has made reasonable good faith efforts
to ensure the material's accuracy and validity. However, under no circumstances shall Professional Training Institute
be held liable for any losses or damages of any kind whatsoever, whether in contract or in tort or under any local,
state or federal law, statute, ordinance, regulation or provision, arising out of or relating to the use of or
reliance upon the material or this website. Browsing and using this website and the material is done solely at
your own risk.
Professional Training Institute does not make any representation, warranty or guaranty that
students who have participated in or successfully completed our courses will be able to perform CPR, First Aid, or
AED assistance in an actual emergency.
You should not solely rely on the Material, but should instead seek
other opinions before taking or failing to take any action which could lead to injury, harm, death or damage of any
kind. CPR, First Aid and AED procedures should be performed only on persons who require them and generally under the
supervision of a licensed professional. Do not attempt or practice these techniques on anyone that does not need them.
Performing these procedures when they are not needed could result in serious injury or death. These procedures will
not save everyone even when they are properly performed.
The certificate does not represent, warrant or guaranty
that the purchaser is properly prepared or equipped to perform CPR, First Aid, or AED assistance. Professional
Training Institute's role is to provide education to the student using generally accepted scientific guidelines.
Professional Training Institute does not represent, warrant or guaranty, either explicitly or implicitly, that its
certification will comply with the user's or any third party's requirements or standards. It is the student's sole
responsibility to ensure compliance with the requirements and standards of any regulatory or licensing body or
employer.
Professional Training Institute and all persons and entities involved in creating, producing and
delivering this website and the Materials are not associated with, affiliated with or endorsed by the American Red
Cross or the American Heart Association.
MONEY BACK GUARANTEE
In the event the student is unable to
complete the training due to computer compatibility issues, or the certification does not comply with the student's
certification requirements (e.g., is not acceptable to the student's academic institution, place of employment,
licensing board) Professional Training Institute agrees to issue a refund (less a handling fee of $5.00 or 10%
whichever is more) provided the student submits his/her request for a refund in writing within 14 calendar days of registration. You are also required to return by mail your certification cards.
The refund of the
student's registration fee will be issued by the same method as the original payment was made. Although every
effort is made to issue refunds promptly, it may take up to 30 business days for the refund to post to the student's
account. Professional Training Institute reserves the right to deny any request for a refund which it determines in
good faith is fraudulent or otherwise intended to abuse its Money Back Guarantee. Professional Training Institute's
determination shall be final.
